British Primate Keepers' Society [B.P.K.S]

In the United Kingdom today there is no private keepers’ primate caring society and as such this leaves this community of keepers without a political voice. TSKA as an advertiser is not able to raise such a society, but we are looking for contribution from private primate keepers for positive ways forward to potentially see the creation of the BPKS – British Primate Keepers’ Society.

Our role in this to raise awareness and recognition for the need for such a society that is able to supply information as well as keeping private primate keepers abreast of political movements in their field. TSKA Exotics do try and raise awareness to both keepers and the opposition that we above all other sellers do take the politics and the legislation seriously with various issues and topics raised.

We do take primates and their politics very seriously and as a species that the opposition including the RSPCA would like to see prohibited in the hands of private keepers and restrict their ownership to parks, zoos and educational facilities only.

We try and raise awareness to various issues such as husbandry, political awareness, and responsible ownership and of course the rights of the keeper but more importantly the rights of the animals themselves maintained within captive collections.

Currently our focus within this page for the societies is to be seen to addressing primates:
